Food
We want you to enjoy your food!
Freshly brewed coffee and locally sourced produce from the markets are all priority for our chef to provide delicious and nutritionally balanced meals.
Breakfast also has buffet style options for those who like a leisurely breakfast in their own time and snacks are provided on request.
The menu is reviewed and changed seasonally and incorporates input and suggestions from the residents residing in the home.
We cater for special diets and regularly ask our residents for feedback on our food and services.
Activities
With over a third of our residents coming from an Italian background, we celebrate culture and embrace diversity.
Life at an aged care facility is a transition and an opportunity to continue living and contributing, being valued and respected as an individual, regardless of age.
At Lady of Grace Aged Care, we offer a wide range of activity programs to enhance quality of life. We realize the importance of meaningful relationships and a calm, peaceful environment.
There are a variety of activities on offer in the home including movies, visiting entertainers, cooking, bingo, board games, quizzes, ball games, birthday celebrations, happy hour and bus trips.
One of the favorite activities is a visit from farm animals and delta dogs.
All of our residents can connect with the activity program and it also is a great social motivator for developing friendships and companionship.
We also celebrate national events and cultural and religious celebrations. Festive days such as: Christmas and Easter, Mothers Day, Australia Day and Melbourne Cup Day. These allow our Residents to stay connected with the community.
The activities are also an opportunity for families and friends to visit and spend special time with the our Residents. We encourage families and friends to visit regularly to partner with us in delivering the best possible care.
Gardens and Parkland
Our boutique home overlooks five acres of natural parkland in Dural. The home’s garden areas include seasonal plants to bring colour and interest to the residents year round.. We encourage our residents to be actively involved in the gardens or just sit back to enjoy the view and the peaceful environment.
