It takes a special person to work in the aged care industry and we are always seeking special people who can join our team.
There is never a day which is the same. We are assisting people who are in need and therefore it is vital that our care is exceptional. Our staff are always alert and any changes in our residents conditions and abilities are promptly investigated and managed to prevent complications.
A person who is enthusiastic, positive, a great communicator, motivated to learn, reliable and is able to work as part of a team, would be welcome at our facility. There are opportunities to continue developing skills and further education.
Working with elderly people is very rewarding.
Our Volunteers program
At Lady of Grace Aged Care, we encourage volunteers to make a positive difference to the daily lives of our residents.
Our volunteers play important roles in assisting with lifestyle activities, such as cooking class, bingo, exercise class, music therapy etc. And also provide one to one emotional support for our residents.
We are also looking for someone with multiple language skills as some of our residents are from different cultural backgrounds. It is always an enjoyment for them to speak with someone who can speak the same language.
