Palliative care is concerned with end of life issues to ensure best possible quality of life for the individual with a terminal illness. Palliative care considers emotional, social, and spiritual needs.




Palliative care refers to a holistic approach to anyone who has a progressive or terminal illness, which focuses on:

  1. providing comfort,
  2. symptom relief and
  3. maximising the quality of life for the individual

Palliative care is provided for anyone who has a condition or disease that cannot be cured.

At Lady of Grace Aged Care Facility, we believe that anyone who is receiving palliative care and their families, are a special consideration, and ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered to ensure comfort and pain free management.

Pain is subjective. Every person has different pain threshold. It is important to consider the right pain relief management for each person. We combine our services with allied health team to ensure the best possible quality of life of the final days. Palliative care team, doctors and nurses are called upon to determine the appropriate management and care.
